Dr. Jimena Abilés Osinaga


Degree in Nutrition from the National University of Salta (Argentina) and Doctor Cum Laude in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Granada. Since 2009, she has been in charge of the Nutrition Department at the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella (Malaga) and member of the Dysphagia and Bariatric Surgery Unit of this hospital, as well as coordinator of the Hospital Nutrition Course that this hospital has been offering for more than a decade.

She is also a member of various working groups such as Metabolism and Nutrition of the Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC), Nutrition of the Spanish Society of Digestive Pathology (SEPD), and Obesity of the Spanish Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She has supervised almost a dozen doctoral theses and is the author of 30 publications in journals indexed in the ISI Web of Knowledge and of nutrition chapters in six textbooks.
