Marbella FC starts the new season in Hospital Ochoa

Hospital Ochoa has, for the fourth consecutive year, been chosen by Marbella Football Club to perform the required medical check-ups for its players before the start of the new season.

This Monday, half the team’s staff underwent a series of different medical and stress tests at Hospital Ochoa. This year’s routine check-up had the novel addition of COVID-19 diagnostic tests for all players and coaching staff.

A very good atmosphere was experienced at Hospital Ochoa during this busy morning where players underwent the various medical tests.

The head of cardiology at Hospital Ochoa, Juan Muñoz Bellido, highlighted the good results from the stress tests, saying “they are all very fit and everything is going very well”.

In addition to the stress tests, echocardiograms were also performed, the results of which cleared the players of any issues and gave the club the green light to start training this Wednesday.

This is the fourth season in which Marbella and Hospital Ochoa are working together, not only with pre-season physical tests, but also by treating any injuries that the players in white may suffer during the campaign.

This Tuesday the other half of the team will visit Hospital Ochoa for their medical examinations, and thus the whole team will have completed the process before commencing training next Wednesday.
