AVOI charity walk
Hospital Ochoa will take part in AVOI’s charity walk – Sunday 23rd of April, on Marbella’s Paseo Marítimo.
After the first edition’s success, Hospital Ochoa will take part in AVOI’s 2nd charity walk and help raise funds for child patients at Malaga’s Hospital Materno-Infantil.
AVOI (Asociación de Voluntarios de Oncología Infantil) is a local charity made up of 170 volunteers. Their mission is to help children (primarily child cancer patients) at Malaga’s Hospital Materno-Infantil.
This year, AVOI plans to send 60 child patients to Disneyland Paris. All of these children are currently being treated at the oncology ward of the aforementioned hospital.
The walk will start at 11:00 am in Plaza de la Fontanilla. Prior to that, children’s races will take place at the same location from 10:00 am. There will also be children’s entertainment, including clowns, live music, a dog show, flamenco dance, and a bar serving drinks and paella.

The registration fee is €8 for adults and €5 for children. This includes a commemorative T-shirt, water, fruit and insurance for the walk.
